OFFICERS & DIRECTORS

Per the Association’s By-Laws, the elected officers of the association shall be a President, a Vice President, and a Secretary-Treasurer.  These officers shall be selected from among the ranks of Official Representatives of Active member companies, and shall be elected at the annual business meeting.  The officers shall be elected for one-year terms, but shall serve until their successors have been duly elected and installed.  Elected officers shall assume office at the time of election at the Association’s annual meeting.  Officers shall be eligible for re-election.  No one person other than the Secretary/Treasurer shall serve in the same officer position for more than three (3) consecutive years.

Not less than one month prior to the annual meeting, the President shall appoint a three-member Nominating Committee, composed of Past Presidents of the association and who are still the Official Representatives of Active member companies.  One member of the committee shall be designated as chairman.  At the following annual meeting, the Nominating Committee Chairman shall propose to the Active membership the names of one eligible person for each of the three association elective offices and any of the directors whose term in office is ending or is vacant.  Additional nominations may be made from the floor.

Vacancies in any elective office may be filled for the balance of the term thereof by the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors, by two-thirds vote of all its members, may remove any officer from office for just cause.

The next election will be held in at the 2024 Annual Business Meeting.
